The Duomo Cathedral of Milan is a Catholic church in Milan, Italy, and holds the title of second-largest cathedral in the world. It was started in 1386 by Archbishop Antonio da Saluzzo and Lord of Milan Gian Galeazzo Visconti, who founded the Fabbrica del Duomo to build it.
